Are you interested in Medieval Paignton? A guided tour on Thursday 16th May
What I hear you cry? Medieval Paignton? Well yes, it does actually exist, and we are going to go forth and discover it. Paignton Heritage Society have very kindly agreed to put this on for us as a knowledge exchange and three of their members will be waiting for us at Kirkham House, a genuine medieval home, still intact, where we will get a tour and power point presentation. We will then go for a stroll to the Paignton clink, the monastic remains in the parish church precincts and the remains of the Bishop's Palace.
Please Note: £3 for members, £5 for non members (sorry no wheelchair access at Kirkham House, and some stairs involved). Call Kathy Alexander, Secretary, Friends of Totnes Museum on 07733 197740 if you wish to attend.
