May Walk - A Walk on the 'North Side'

Venue : Meet in the Market Square
Price : £2 members, £4 non-members.
Event : As announced at the March Talk, we are going to take 'A Walk on the North Side', which will take in the Castle Meadow, North Gate (and some recent interesting research into this area by James Bellchambers), following the line of the North wall to the Priory lands and then down the hill to visit the Priory house, at the invitation of Father Benedict Ramsden. This little known private house is fascinating to visit with some excellent 17th Century plasterwork and an interesting history.
